It depends on the size of your saucepan and how hot your stove gets. Remove from heat and about 20 minutes to thicken up. If it is too thick, add a tablespoon of water at a time until you get back to the right consistency.

If your hair is too short, the wax won’t be able to get a good grip, and you will be left with a spotty wax job. Hair that is too long can create an equally unpleasant scenario. To be safe, you aim for around 1/4-inch of growth. Working in 2-inch sections, you apply the wax in the direction of hair growth. Let sit for 5s to 10s before placing a wax strip on top and smoothing it down gently.
You can pull the strip off in the opposite direction of the hair growth, being sure to hold the skin underneath taught to lessen the pain.
While there are a lot of consumer products available for waxing aftercare, simplicity is vital. You should keep the waxed areas as clean as possible for a few hours following.
